The bowling from Bengaluru was brilliant, to say the least. The side came up with a plan and they executed that to perfection. Bengaluru bowlers were lethal with their short-pitched ploy to the Gujarat batters and the pitch assisted them perfectly. Yash Dayal was the pick of the bowlers as he took a couple and gave away just 21. Mohammed Siraj too took a couple. Cameron Green, Vijaykumar Vyshak and Karn Sharma took one each. The pitch has a bit of bite to it and this will assist the pacers.

Vijaykumar Vyshak says that he is happy because the team did well. Adds that Siraj and Dayal gave them the perfect start and it was great to restrict them to under 150. Mentions that they stuck to their plan of banging it in the surface and it was a bit two-paced. After being put in to bat first Gujarat were off to a poor start as they were pinned back to the wall by the bowlers of Bengaluru from the get-go.
