Mumbai, Nov 28: The recent attacks on Mumbai that have left 132 dead and over 300 injured hinted at the emergence of a new dimension of terrorism. According to Hotel Employees Federation of India (HEFOI), the aim of terrorists behind choosing tourists destination in the financial capital of India is to put serious impact on the economy.

The HEFOI condemned the attacks that shook Mumbai on November 26 as “senseless and heinous”.

The terrorists attacked Leopold café, Nariman House, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Taj Hotel, Trident-Oberoi Hotel, and Centaur hotel on the Western Express Highway to leave the economy frightened besides creating panic among people, the HEFOI said.

The association added that terror attacks in India in the recent past were also aimed at tourist as well as business centres, such as Gujarat, Delhi, and Jaipur.
