London, Jan 02: Media mogul Simon Cowell is building a new bachelor pad in Barbados, which is worth a whopping 10 million pounds, according to reports.
What’s more, the mansion will have bedrooms adorned with mirrored walls.
The newly single ‘X Factor’ judge recently bought ten acres of land close to the exclusive five-star Sandy Lane resort on the luxury island, and the building work will begin this month.
Apparently, Cowell has given firm directions to the architects, and has explained them that he wants lavish mirror panels for the bedrooms, which he hopes to make the centerpiece of the house.
Cowell – who recently split from long-term love Terri Seymour – told pals the new mansion would be an ultimate singleton`s pad.
"No expense will be spared - it will have installed all the latest gizmos and boys toys. Cowell has been very specific when it comes to what he wants - and specifically insisted on the mirror panels in the bedrooms,” The Mirror quoted Cowell’s pal, as saying.
"He thinks they will be hilarious and can`t wait to show them off. Simon says the project is his pride and joy and that he`ll be personally overseeing the whole building process,” the pal added.
Cowell’s Barbados pad will comprise of 6-bedrooms, a helipad and indoor mini-cinema. It will also feature a top-of-the-range kitchen and marble bathroom, as well as a swimming pool with a poolside bar.
