Mumbai, Jan 08: Shah Rukh Khan, has readily done cameo roles for friends as a goodwill gesture. But all of a sudden, he has surprised his filmmaker friends by announcing that his New Year resolution is to do away with cameo roles.

The reason he cites is - "I always end up hurting myself." And guess what? We know the reason of his hurt! The cause behind his decision is his infamous spat with Salman Khan at Katrina’s birthday party, owing to his refusal to do a guest appearance in ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’.

The actor, who is presently in LA shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘My Name is Khan’ has (reportedly been invited to give away the Golden Awards) admitted that he will stick to his resolve.

The superstar has done many guest appearances for films like ‘Achanak’, ‘Army’, ‘Gaja Gamini’, ‘Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega’, ‘Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye’, ‘Saathiya’, ‘Shakti - The Power’, ‘Silsilay’, ‘Alag’, ‘Kaal’, ‘Heyy Baby’, ‘Krazzy 4’, and ‘Bhootnath’.

Shah Rukh’s New Year resolution is sure to affect filmmaker’s adversely. If only that fateful spat with Salman had not happened, Bollywood would be a different place.
