Mumbai, Nov 23: The psycho-character expert of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut came up with a calm, composed persona recently while talking about her career, life and love. Though only six movies old, the actress has undergone a substantial change in her personality and outlook towards life and career. A much mellowed actor now, she declared she is quite unlike the disturbed characters she plays onscreen.

“I’m more confident, know what I’m talking about, have learnt a lot... I’ve matured,” she said to a news daily recently, adding words carefully, “People take some time accepting something new. But ‘Gangster’ did well and I knew that I’d worked very hard in the movie. It will always be a very special part of my life. And now people have accepted me and say that I compete with myself with every role. It’s a great feeling!”

Regarding her fall-out with benefactor Aditya Pancholi, she spoke pensively, “I was very young when I joined the industry. There were people who helped me and were really sweet to me. But soon, those people started to think that they owned me. I paid off all my debts and I’m free now. The problem is that our industry can intoxicate anyone. That’s why I believe no actor should take their star status seriously. If they do, then they lose it! Thankfully, I’m not one of them.”

The actor with those exotic looks and hair declared about her ‘sexy’ image that she is not sexy at all. “Sexy and me don’t go together in the same line. In fact, I am a sexless person!” Proud of all the movies she has done, and has no place for regrets. Looking at her success rate, there shouldn’t be any!

Getting on a more personal note, she spoke about Adhyayan Suman, Shekhar Suman’s son and her co-star in ‘Raaz – The Mystery Continues’. “I have been dating him for the last eight months. I want this to be personal. I hope everyone respects that.” And the door was closed on further peeks at her love-life. She believes in heart-to-heart with herself rather than with any company – quite a pensive and introspective personality this!
