Aizawl, Dec 29: The 12-member-strong Mizoram
Council of Ministers were allocated portfolios with Chief
Minister Lal Thanhawla keeping Finance, Public Works, Power
and Electricity.
R Lalzirliana was allocated Home, Prison, District
Council Affairs and Rural Development departments while
Agriculture, Horticulture, Minor Irrigation, Fisheries, Soil
and Water Conservation and Personnel Administration
departments went to H Liansailova.
S Hiato bagged industries, Tourism and Public Health
Engineering departments and P C Zoramsangliana was allocated
Transport, Art and Culture and Printing and Stationery
departments.
J H Rothuama was allocated Land Revenue and Settlement
and Cooperation departments while Law and Judicial,
Parliamentary Affairs, School Education, Higher and Technical
Education and Taxation departments were given to Lalsawta.
Environment and Forests and Food, Civil Supplies and
Consumer Affairs went to H Rohluna, Health and Family Welfare,
Labour and Employment and Trade and Commerce to Lalrinliana
Sailo.
Zodintluanga was allocated Urban Development and
Poverty Alleviation, Information and Public Relations, Sports
and Youth Services and Information and Communication
Technology departments.
Minister of State Nihar Kanti Chakma was given Animal
Husbandry and Veterinary, Sericulture and Disaster Management
departments while another Minister of State P C Lalthanliana
was allocated Local Administration and Social Welfare
departments.
