    Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Live Updates: 83 parliamentary constituencies across the 13 states in the country are set to go for polls in the second phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on April 26. As the campaigning for the second phase will end today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold 3 public meetings in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and a roadshow in MP's Bhopal today.

    Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is set to address three public meetings in her brother and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Wayanad constituency on the last day of campaigning for the second phase of Lok Sabha polls. Rahul Gandhi is vying for a second term in Kerala's Wayanad Lok Sabha seat which is set to go for polls on April 26.

    Apart from Rahul Gandhi, the fate of Congress leader and 3-time MP from Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor, Veteran actress and sitting MP from Mathura, Hema Malini, Arun Govil in Meerut and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat who is contesting from Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat in Rajasthan is in the fray in the second phase of the general elections. 

    Meanwhile, the row over PM Modi's remarks on Congress' Manifesto continues and Congress leader Sam Pitoda released a video emphasizing the need for policy toward wealth redistribution and elaborated on the concept of inheritance tax prevailing in America.  Pitroda's video drew heavy criticism from BJP leaders and the party's IT Cell chief Amit Malviya said, "Congress has decided to destroy India."

    BJP's Kangana Ranaut Holds Roadshow In Rajasthan's Barmer

    Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) candidate from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday held a roadshow in Rajasthan's Barmer. While holding the roadshow, she said, "We have organised a huge roadshow in support of BJP candidate from Barmer, Kailash Choudhary. You can see the enthusiasm of people here. There is only one slogan 'Har Har Modi, Har Ghar Modi'..."

    "We are campaigning with great zest here," she expressed further. Earlier on Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut held a roadshow in Jodhpur where she said, "The energy and excitement of people can be seen, we can see people's love for BJP."

    Rajnath Singh Holds Roadshow In Andhra's Anakapalli

    BSP Releases List Of Candidates For Salempur, Bhadohi And Hamirpur LS Seats

    Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Wednesday released a list of its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The list includes names of four candidates, three for Lok Sabha polls and one for assembly by-polls.
    Three candidates for Lok Sabha polls are Bheem Rajbhar, Irfan Ahmed and Nirdosh Kumar Dixit respectively from Salempur, Bhadohi and Hamirpur Lok Sabha seats.
    While Sarvesh Chandra Mishra has been declared as BSP's candidate from Dadraul Assembly constituency in Shahjahanpur district.

    Modi Says INDIA Bloc's 'One-Year-One PM' Formula Will 'Destroy' Country  

    Addressing a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh's Betul, Modi said, "The country should know who is their PM face. On our side, you have Modi in front of you, with a track report of 10 years. The opposition looked for a PM face, but could not find one. Now some media reports said they are discussing one-year-one PM formula which means five prime ministers in five years. What will happen to the country?" Modi asked.

    Lok Sabha Elections: Akhilesh Yadav To Contest From Kannauj

    Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav will contest the general elections from Kannauj Lok Sabha constituency, the party said on Wednesday, just days after it declared Tej Pratap Yadav as its candidate from the seat.

    The Party, in a post on X, said that the SP Chief will file his nomination from Kannauj Lok Sabha seat on Thursday.

    The general elections of 2024 is all set to host the second phase of voting on April 26. There will be polling in 89 Lok Sabha seats spread over 13 states during this phase.     Campaign Ends For Five Bihar LS Seats Going To Polls In Second Phase

    Campaigning ended on Wednesday for five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar where electors will decide the fate of 50 candidate in the second phase of polling on April 26.

    Leading the NDA charge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Purnea, a seat which is being contested by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U). Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed his first election meeting in Bihar at Bhagalpur, a seat the party is contesting after more than two decades.
